Title: Student Internship Software Project Development Job Location: Hoehenkirchen near Munich, Germany Our Department: Automotive Psssst… want to be immersed in the world of functional safety software development for the automotive industry, in a global tech company bringing positioning software to the car manufacturers enabling autonomous driving? We have an exciting project for you to support us on that journey. You will work closely with the project management improving the processes according to ISO26262 and ASPICE. About The Trimble Functional Safety Development Team based in Munich Trimble provides proven GNSS technology to the automotive industry partners achieving high accuracy absolute positioning and orientation for safety-critical applications. To enable the automotive industry on the journey to autonomous driving we develop a functional safe positioning engine derived from our long experience in precise GNSS + INS technologies. Your Project: Become part of the crew, you’ll get to work alongside our highly experienced team who port proven in field software to a functional safe developed product. You will understand how the process enables us to meet the requirements for ISO26262 and ASPICE. Working closely with the development team you will prepare the source code for porting it to the latest state of the art test environment. You will develop a tool which serves this purpose to speed up the actual development process.

• Porting existing test code to the new tool chain
• Preparing code base for upcoming project
• Improving elements of the process while analyzing each step individually
